Hi group!
I know many of you groom your own newfs but I need to take my girl a few
times per year for a good cleanup.  Does anyone near the cities know of a
good groomer for our breed?  I like someone who can lightly scissor trim.
Many groomers only use electric clippers which I don't like.  Any help
would be appreciated.

Liz: Stephanie T. at Woodbury Dog Spaw in Woodbury MN. She works mornings right now due to a new baby.

She does my Sacha once a month.

We have used Vanity Fur mobile pet spa. She is very good. She went to a well known school for grooming, and so did her assistant who is also a vet tech. They have a website, and the van just pulls into your driveway and grooms them right there in the van. What I like is that they use a hydronic lift to get them into the tub and onto the grooming table.

Sarah at Petco in Roseville on Fairview. She's great with our Newfs, Munchie and Chester. If you use her, mention their names.

I would recommend Amy Stonehouse at Paw Spa in Bloomington.  Has had a Newf and raises and shows Great Pyrenees.  jane
