Exhibiting beauty and brains, they have completed their AKC Championship (CH), earned their Companion Dog Obedience title (CD), their Draft Dog title (DD) and their Water Rescue Dog title (WRD). This video spotlight features the 14 Newfoundlands who finished their Versatile Newfoundland (VN) title in 2019.

MEET THE 2019 VERSATILE NEWFOUNDLANDS
Breeding Considerations

Study the breed standard with knowledgeable people and develop a clear mental picture of what you want in your breeding program. It is amazing what can be accomplished, even in a competitive atmosphere, when people share knowledge openly with one another. Invest in the best breeding stock you can buy. If the best is not available, wait until it is. Be objective and patient. Potential breeders should have a working knowledge of genetics.

Your NCA Board of Directors recognizes the value and prevalence of social networking systems, such as Facebook™, email lists, and blogs. Members of the Newfoundland Club of America should consider social networking communication as public and, as such, understand that their comments reflect on themselves and the NCA. Members should consider carefully what and how they write and are encouraged to stress positive aspects of education rather than negative or sarcastic comments about owners, breeders, The Newfoundland Club of America and/or Newfoundland fanciers.
