Hi All,
Jet is an approximately 1 year old male that came into rescue about a month ago. He has been fostered at my house, with a couple of short stints with Elizabeth and Lori while I have been on vacation. I am going on vacation again Sept 2- 12th, and need someone to watch him while I am gone. Lori and Elizabeth are unable to accommodate this time due to other commitments. We have been actively trying to find him his forever home, but the applicants and interviews ended up with dead ends.
If you haven't seen our Facebook posts on him, I will introduce you. :)He is a very active boy. He loves to play fetch. He is learning to walk nicely on a leash. He's about 75lbs and will likely stay on the smaller size as he is a non-typical newf, (bad breeding and possible mix)
He is smart and learns rather quickly. He does have some anxiety, as in sudden loud noises startle him and if not leashed may bolt. He would need a fenced yard because of this. Jet loves to cuddle. He wants nothing more than to be with people. Which with Nova's boss behavior, he's not getting near the attention he should be at my house.
He is crate trained, and house trained. He's had limited experience with cats. He does well with the bathes and grooming I've done with him. (he's had 3 since being picked up)He does bark some when initially left alone, but tends to settle down after about 15 min.
I will attach some photos of him.
If any one is interested in adopting Jet, or is able to foster him for the week I am gone, please let me know.
Thanks!
