Hi all, I was wondering if any one in our group has their Newf registered as a therapy dog that can go in to nursing homes and hospitals? I got a request through the club’s Facebook page from a gal who’s mom is nearing the end of her life and would love to see a Newf again. Her daughter (the gal requesting) has Newfs, but lives in Florida and can’t bring them. Her mom is located on St. Cloud, MN. If you have a Newf that is able to do this, and you are willing to travel to St Cloud, please let me know and I will get you in contact with this gal. I just got an update on the lady. She has been moved to hospice in Clarkfield, Mn. Which is west of Willmar. If there is anyone out in that area that could possibly make a visit with their Newf, the family would greatly appreciate it. Please let me know and I will get you in contact with the family.
