Please read this message about Kathy deJohn and the possibility to adopt two of her dogs that she is no longer able to keep.

Hi Chris -

I wanted to reach out to the folks in MN - we have been approached by Kathy’s son and daughter in law - Kathy has been moved to a memory care facility - she was able to keep her girl Newf with her (the facility “adopted” her as a mascot of sorts) and they are working on re-homing her 2 boys Luke and James - not sure if she was close with anyone out there who knows the boys who might be interested in being their retirement home, we could potentially work out getting them brought out with someone coming to the National. We are fine working on placing them here through rescue, but wanted to put the word out in case there was someone who knows the boys from when Kathy lived out there.
